Kaki galore
Every year, the Kaki (persimmon) tree on the terrace produces an abundance of its sweet fruit. In October, the leaves and fruit are a riot of colour, then the leaves go, leaving a tree which looks as if it has been decked out early for Christmas.
The fruits are camouflaged against the leaves
An orange glow through the bedroom window ...
... and closer up
Ornament of the terrace
A perfect specimen ...
Ready to eat!
