The time has gone in a flash, and on Thursday Betty caught her flight for Edinburgh. On Wednesday, we paid a visit to the restaurant at the Eremo di Calomini . It is attached to a trout farm, so it's a rare place in our area where fish is always on the menu!
For our evening meal, we walked into town for a late gelato. On the way, we were enthralled to see a swarm of bats swirling and wheeling above our heads, as they left their roost and prepared for their night-long insect feast. None of us had ever seen such a display.
