It's been a good few days of weather, and we have enjoyed a barbecue and a couple of walks in the countryside, as well as a bit of sunbathing.
Last week in Lucca, we saw great preparations afoot for a big show which turned out to be a Rolling Stones concert ... As I write, Mick Jagger et al will be strutting their stuff just half an hour away on the walls of Lucca - their
only Italian gig on their current tour! Apparently it was sold out in an hour or so, but a Lucca cafe had two tickets to sell us - at €250 a pop. We resisted however, and a friend sent us these pics of the crowds massing from all over Italy ...
