Finalmente! - Barga gets in on the act ...

They said it would come - and today it came. A fine snow began to fall last night and by this morning we had five inches of fine powder snow blanketing the land.  Not much by UK's present standards, but it is the first, and presumably only snow that Barga has seen this winter.

With no wind, it was much less cold than the last few days, and very pleasant to trek through, as we headed off to Barga for some exercise, fresh air and groceries.

  1. It was magic - all the more so because we had a thaw today - and it'll all be gone tomorrow - unlike UK!
