From Tiglio to Bebbio

A couple of days ago, we braved shot and shell (metaphorically) to walk between the villages of Tiglio and Bebbio.  On the way, we met up with a group of hunters engaged in a "Battuta di caccia all cinghiale"  - a wild boar hunt - who ensured us we could proceed "with tranquility".  Indeed, we never heard a shot, although speaking to one of the huntsmen later, they had indeed bagged a couple.

Just after the wild-boar-men

A better shot of Monte Giovo - our highest nearby peak in the Appenines

In the woods

  1. I am not too keen on meeting men with guns in woods. It last happened to me in America but he too was friendly. The cracked wood stump is remarkably beautiful. Looks like you are still getting lots of good weather. It's been a few days of rain here. On the 25th it rained all day. Today, we are back to frost and some brief brightness.
