Back home ...

On Sunday, Barga held its Mondine - the annual chestnut harvest celebration.  The square was mellow with music by local jazz combo The Aristodemos and refreshments and chestnuts provided by local bar Da Aristo.

On Wednesday we went along to Castelnuovo to get a spare part for the chainsaw, have a coffee and do some window shopping.
